A regional shopping mall was experiencing declining foot traffic due to online shopping competition. The management team needed a cost-effective way to create unique in-person experiences that would draw visitors back to the physical location.
LED Experience Zone Strategy
HWLight designed four LED installation zones that transformed the mall from a purely functional shopping space into an experiential destination:
Zone Breakdown
Zone 1 - Main Entrance (LED Neon Arch): 8m wide LED neon sign arch with "Welcome" in multiple languages. Color-changing RGB creates dynamic first impression. Becomes the mall signature Instagram photo spot.
Zone 2 - Central Atrium (LED Motif Display): 6m tall seasonal LED motif display, changing themes quarterly (cherry blossoms in spring, ocean in summer, harvest in autumn, winter wonderland). Updates keep the space fresh and give visitors reason to return.
Zone 3 - Food Court (LED Neon Art Wall): 4m x 3m LED neon art installation featuring food-themed neon designs. Creates ambient lighting for dining area and encourages social media sharing.
Zone 4 - Kids Area (Interactive LED Floor): LED PE ball lights (20cm) embedded in soft flooring, changing color when children step on them. Keeps families in the mall longer.
