Design Objective
A boutique hotel wanted its lobby to be more than a check-in area - it needed to be a memorable first impression that sets the tone for the entire guest experience and generates word-of-mouth marketing.
LED Design Concept
The design team created a layered LED lighting scheme that complemented the hotel existing dcor without overwhelming it:
Layer 1 - Statement Piece (Center)
A 3m tall LED abstract art motif positioned in the lobby center. The design features flowing, organic shapes in warm gold and soft white, creating a sculpture-like centerpiece that draws guests attention immediately.
Layer 2 - Ambient Accents (Perimeter)
LED PE ball lights (30cm, warm white) placed strategically around the lobby perimeter - beside the reception desk, near the concierge area, and flanking the elevator entrance. These create soft, warm pools of light that complement the main chandelier.
Layer 3 - Architectural Highlights (Details)
LED neon rope lights installed along architectural features - ceiling moldings, staircase edges, and the bar counter. The warm white neon (2700K) matches the hotel existing color palette perfectly.
Technical Specifications
- All LED products operate on 24V low voltage - completely safe for public areas
- Dimming system connected to the hotel building management system, automatically adjusting brightness throughout the day
- Color temperature maintained at 2700K warm white throughout - consistent with hotel brand identity
- Noise-free operation - all drivers located in equipment room, zero audible hum in guest areas
